About Derek Fadner
Attorney Derek L. Fadner is a native Texan who spent his early childhood in Corpus Christi, Texas, before returning to his birthplace of Houston, Texas at the age of twelve. After completing high school, Mr. Fadner enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While serving in the Marine Corps, Mr. Fadner experienced firsthand the level of commitment, hard work, and sacrifice needed to achieve success.
Mr. Fadner now applies these lessons as an attorney while advocating for the rights of policyholders involved in insurance disputes. After four years of dedicated service to our nation, Mr. Fadner transitioned back to civilian life and began pursuing his education.
Mr. Fadner attended Texas A&M University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Mr. Fadner then returned home to Houston where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Fadner competed in multiple national moot court competitions as a part of the school’s nationally ranked trial advocacy program. Mr. Fadner received several awards as an advocate and brief writer, including Dean T. Gerald Treece “Heart of the South Texas Advocate” Award for exemplifying the spirit and dedication of the South Texas Advocacy program.
Prior to joining Palker Law Firm, Mr. Fadner represented individuals suffering from personal injuries at a respected Houston plaintiff’s firm. Through his diverse litigation experiences, Mr. Fadner has developed the skills and knowledge necessary to reach full and fair settlements on behalf of his clients.
